Social

Delta Chi's participate in all sorts of social events throughout the year. During the Fall and Winter quarters Delta Chi holds a date party that could entail anything from seeing a show or musical (Young Frankenstein and Spamelot), going ice skating, or going out to a nice restaurant for dinner. During the Spring quarter, we typically have a formal that includes a night full of dancing and good times. In addition, each Fall Delta Chi holds its annual registered party. In 2008 and 2009 this was Party Noir, a blacklight party that included a DJ, glowsticks, and tons of blacklights.

As a part of the Northwestern community, Delta Chi plays a large role in the social aspect of campus life. Each year Delta Chi pairs up with a sorority to construct a float for the Northwestern Homecoming Parade in which we have placed as one of the top three floats continuously over the past few years. After rush week at the beginning of Winter quarter, Delta Chi participates in Gone Greek Night, which involves the Delta Chi pledge class singing to sororities followed by a night of dancing at a club or bar. Delta Chi also participates in the many events within the Greek Community. Brothers often attend philanthropy events, shows, and performances put on by the many different student groups at Northwestern.
