Philanthropy

Delta Chi's understand the importance of giving back to the community and participate in many different philanthropy events throughout the Northwestern Campus. Each year we send over 10 dancers to dance for 30 hours in Dance Marathon, Northwestern's largest and longest running philanthropic event. We have also raised money and participated in Relay for Life at Northwestern. Besides philanthropic events run through the Northwestern community, Delta Chi's take it upon themselves to plan their own philanthropy events to raise money for great causes. In spring of 2009, Delta Chi held a Beach Party to raise money for the V Foundation for Cancer Research. Before that, Delta Chi has had numerous events ranging from an Earth Ball competition to date auctions. In addition, Delta Chi's give back to the community through service projects as well. Delta Chi has participated in Project Pumpkin and clean up events in the Evanston Community during Greek Week.
